A TEMP AGENCY THAT DELIVERS

Every day we are providing short and long-term positions. There is normally a particular reason a temp job may be available.  It could be to cover an absence (holiday, sickness, maternity etc), to cope with a sudden increase in workload, to deliver a specific project or because there is not the budget to fully commit to a permanent role. Sometimes organisations want to trail someone as a temporary worker before fully committing to them as a permanent employee. As a result, some temp jobs last for just a day while others may be ongoing for one or two years.

Temporary work is perfect for those who are looking for a permanent role, or those who need flexibility in their work life, are a university student, a working parent, or you have a fixed-term visa.

FIXED-TERM AND TEMP-TO-PERM CONTRACTS

A fixed-term contract is typically offered on a longer-term basis and gives a degree of certainty to the worker.  Employers like them as it allows for continuity of service from the same individual, whilst also allowing them to become part of the team.  Fixed-term contracts are perfect for covering longer-term absences such as maternity or if you have a specific project-based requirement for that individual. 

Many workers and employers like the “try before you buy” option that temping affords them.  This is typically where a temporary worker will be temp for several weeks before being offered the permanent position.

Before you can begin working, you will need to ensure that you have details of where you have been previously employed, ID, right to work in the UK documentation (if applicable) and all relevant qualifications (if necessary for the role), as well as a bank details so that we can pay you!

As a temporary worker, you are entitled to holiday pay and pension contributions.  We will sort all of that out for you.
