I just wanted to give some feedback on Aishat.

Firstly I just want to start by saying that I have absolutely nothing negative or any criticism so this is all going to be positive!

This past week Aishat has been in the service nearly every day, she has an outstanding work ethic and is always willing to help. I've never had to ask her to do anything (unless it's tea or going offsite because I'm too busy) but generally, she's on the ball. 

She's built or is building an amazing working relationship with one of my residents and in the past week she's only got out of bed for Aishat today she told me 'I don't want you, I want Aishat' 

Aishat is extremely respectful and dignified when communicating with both staff and residents and is beyond helpful throughout the day. She's very knowledgeable. 

Today she took one of my residents to a doctor's appointment but unfortunately, the nurse wouldn't see my resident (not Aishats fault) however, Aishat returned to service, settled the resident then come to find me to tell me in detail what had happened and then wrote down the new appointment in our diary. 

Her communication is immaculate and overall she's just an absolute pleasure to have on shift and in the service. 

Due to this, going forward with staffing our priority would like to be given to Aishat above anyone if possible.

I am a Case Manager for a client with complex needs, both physical and health needs. Codie has been coordinating cover arrangements as and when we require support. To date, Codie has been extremely helpful, efficient, and very responsive. There have been times when she has been able to answer my requests for staff within minutes which I consider to be an exceptional service. Codie has demonstrated her understanding for our client to have the same staff where possible, ensuring consistency for both our client and our staff. We were losing a lot of candidates in the permanent onboarding process once we had offered so we introduced the temp-to-perm model to primarily help address this. 

We still interview the candidates as we would if they were applying for a permanent position, but we found that starting them via the agency initially if we felt them suitable meant they were more likely to complete our compliance process promptly as they would be working for us already.

Onboarding the candidates initially via the agency also allows us to see how they are in the job before we commit to offering them a permanent contract, it also allows the candidates to do the job/work in the service as well to make sure we are the right fit for them as well which reduces dropouts over the long term.

 As we are getting the candidates in quicker than we would via a straight permanent introduction our house managers also benefit from getting their rota's / vacant posts filled quickly which means our existing staff benefit from having more stable staff teams and helping reduce our ad-hoc agency usage which is normally more expensive.
