Team Leader / Deputy Manager - Children's Residential Care
Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire
Salary:
- Team Leader: £31,000 - £35,000 per annum
- Deputy Manager: £35,000 - £39,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Requirements: Minimum Level 3 in Children's Residential Care
- Experience: At least 2 years in a leadership role within a children's residential setting
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for two dedicated Team Leaders or Deputy Managers to join our brand-new 2-bed EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) service in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
About the Role:
As a Team Leader or Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for young people in our care. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Residential Support Workers, ensuring high-quality care and implementing individual care plans to help young people thrive.
What We're Looking For:
- Level 3 in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent) - Essential
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role within a children's residential setting
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and therapeutic care approaches
- A passion for supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
- Ability to lead and inspire a team while maintaining high professional standards
