About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our clients dedicated team. As a key member of our service, you will provide professional supervision and support our foster carers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children, young people, and families.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide regular supervision to a caseload of foster carers, offering guidance, support, and professional development.
• Conduct regular case reviews to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements.
• Promote best practice in child protection and child care work.
• Support staff with complex cases and assist in resolving challenging situations.
• Participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to inter-agency working.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Essential Requirements:

• Social Work England registration with relevant experience in child protection or child in care work.
• Significant experience in fostering social work practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience in a IFA.
• 2 years post qualifiying experience
