I have an EXCITING role that is split with 14 hours of Managing the service and 21 hours of hands-on experience. You will be working alongside an experienced service manager developing your skills.
I am recruiting several CARING and PASSIONATE Deputy Managers to join a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. The service, which is located in Denbigh supports adults aged between 18 - 65.
The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.
- Salary: £25,293 - £28,413
- Hours: Full Time 40 hours a week
- Contract: Permanent
- Shifts: Monday-Friday with one weekend day shift every 4 weeks (Sat or Sun)
- Location: Denbigh, Denbighshire

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Support the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
- Planning rotas, management of staff teams,
- Ensuring compliance within the service.
- Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
- Ensuring the safety of the service users.
- Following care plans for each individual.
- Taking service users out into the community.
- Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
- Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements:
- NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willing to work towards Level 3
- Senior Support Worker Experience
- Must be resilient.
- Drivers ESSENTIAL due to the nature of the role
- Candidates must be happy to do personal care
