Senior Social Worker - Family Assessments
Location: Staffordshire Salary: £ - £45,000
We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a team in Staffordshire, based at a brand-new family assessment service.
About the Role
You will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive family assessments, aligned with individual care plans. Your expertise in report writing, strong communication skills, and ability to manage a demanding workload are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough family assessments.
- Collaborate with the service leadership team to enhance assessment processes.
- Contribute to the development of staff and resident training programs.
- Maintain a reduced caseload to effectively fulfil other duties.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent Diploma
- Social Work England (SWE) registration
- Proven experience in residential family assessment centers, community assessment teams, or conducting assessments
- Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
- Experience in court report writing
- Proven ability to work effectively with parents and children
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills
