Vetro Education are seeking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Music Teacher to work in a secondary school in Aberdare. The school supports learners in Key Stage 3 and 4 and the school has tasked Vetro to find a Music Teacher, who can hit the ground running and become a part of the Music team from day one.
The role itself is for 5 days per week, teaching Year 7, 8 and 9, as well as GCSE classes. This role will start in September.

Title: Music Teacher
Pay: £170.00 per day minimum
Location: Aberdare
Hours: Part time -830am - 310pm

The role: What you'll be doing as a Music Teacher
Lead a classroom of learners - Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Preparing the classroom for lessons and plan schemes of work where required
Deliver lessons in line with national curriculum
Engage learners with both classroom and lab-based activities
Work in accordance to the school's behavior management policies
The candidate: What you'll need to be successful as a Music Teacher
At least 1 year Music teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
References covering the last two years (no gaps)
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
