Registered Children's Manager
Location: Colchester, Essex
Salary: £45,000.00 - £50,000.00 per year
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Children's Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of care and wellbeing for children in our care. This role involves overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and fostering a nurturing environment for children to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Lead and support staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage daily operations, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Maintain accurate records in line with legal and organisational requirements.
- Promote staff and children's personal development through training and support.
Skills and Requirements:
- Proven experience managing care services within a children's setting.
- Strong knowledge of care planning and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- NVQ Level 3 in Children Residential Workforce (or equivalent).
- A compassionate approach and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
