This is a fantastic opportunity has opened up in a lovely Primary school based in Roath, Cardiff. The school is looking for an engaging and motivated class teacher to join this new academic year.
The successful class teacher will be joining an already successful school to continue to success and learning that the school holds itself in a high standard to. Title: Primary School Class Teacher

  • Pay: £157.66 per day minimum
  • Location: Roath, Cardiff
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm

The school is looking for a Primary School Class teacher

  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner who continually strives to improve the teaching and learning that occurs within their classroom
  • Demonstrates high expectations of themselves and of children to ensure all pupils reach their potential
  • Create a stimulating learning environment to engage, motivate, and educate pupils effectively
  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders including parents, carers, school staff, governors, and other professionals
  • Demonstrate excellent positive behavior strategies
  • Be able to work as part of a dedicated team providing insight and support
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Use innovative materials and resources such as ICT to enhance pupil learning
  • Represent the school's values and ethos


The candidate: What you'll need to be a successful Primary School Class teacher

  • At least 1 year of teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
