We are seeking caring and empathetic Healthcare Support Workers to join our team at Vetro Nursing to working in a 16-bed residential and nursing home providing exceptional care to individuals with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions.

Overview:

  Location: Newport

  Pay: £12.82 - £26.76 (PAYE)
• 
  Shifts: Days, Nights and Weekends
• 
  Flexible agency work.
• 
  NB: We do not offer sponsorships

  Block bookings potentially available - Full or Part Time
• 
  Weekly pay (Free of charge)

About the Role:

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for their residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• 
  Providing personal care and hygiene assistance
• 
  Supporting residents with daily living activities
• 
  Encouraging independence and promoting a positive environment
• 
  Assisting with meal times and medication administration
• 
  Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
• 
  Working closely with the nursing team to deliver holistic care
  

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• 
  A genuine passion for caring for others
• 
  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• 
  The ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• 
  A patient and empathetic approach
• 
  A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• 
  Minimum of 6 months of working in a similar role

Experience in working with individuals with brain injuries or other neurological conditions is desirable but not essential.
